A short, interview-based film about young men and women and their experiences as black artists. This film aims to shed light on the ways in which art is a powerful tool for overcoming adversities, especially for minorities. Additionally, the film shows how diverse the black community is and breaks barriers of close-minded ideas of what blackness is. RISE was made with young people in mind-- showing them that you can find your voice and face any challenges with a little creativity.
